My husband and I have a tradition of trying a Rootbeer float is its on the menu of a new restaurant we’re trying. Our local favorite is Wild River Brewing who craft their own Rootbeer. Its an extra treat when we order a glass and a pitcher, allowing us to refill to our hearts content.

Not all floats are created equal, however. And we have tried a few that were disappointing, to say the least. But even sharing in something distasteful makes for a good experience because we share in it together.
